Twenty four years ago I created a website. Not for any particular reason, it was just what one did in the late 1990s. (If one is into computers and programming and wants to teach themselves HTML and CSS and PHP and all that stuff.) And of course I created a blog. More than one in fact. I even created a sites for other people and organizations. Nothing huge. And nothing that lasted. Except, that is, for the original site which is still sitting out there. I think the last time it was updated was in… 2006 maybe? It’s more of a cobweb site now. I’m not even going to provide a link to it because there’s nothing there except a repository of some old internet jokes and a few pictures. I keep the domain name for the email addresses, but that’s about it.
So this will probably be like my blogs from that era in that I don’t really expect anyone to read them or subscribe. Some people did read the old blogs, and maybe some people will read this. That’s cool. I’m not adverse to people reading what I have to say. But the goal isn’t to have thousands of paid subscribers. (Or any paid subscribers since I’m not planning to enable that.) This is just a place where I can put out my thoughts in a format that’s not broken up into 280 character chunks. Maybe I’ll put out a short story or two. (Anything’s possible.) If you end up reading, I hope you like it. And if you don’t, well, that’s okay too.
